The top floor of the house, with the old chestnut beams left bare above the bed. It is the largest room we have, with space to unpack properly and a sofa that opens into a bed for a third guest.
From the window you see more roofs than street: terracotta, aerials, a bell tower and, on clear evenings, the light going orange over all of it.
